Executive Vice President Asia Pacific & Middle East at Camfil Singapore

Suresh Balan is the Executive Vice President of Asia-Pacific and the Middle East at Camfil Group focusing on growth, geographical expansion, business operations and new product introduction for clean air solutions in the region. Prior to joining Camfil, Suresh was with Electrolux for 20 years and worked in various positions and countries. His career at Electrolux has given him responsibilities in strategy development, manufacturing, product management, sales, marketing, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions working in Sweden, India, Belgium and Hungary. His last position was Head of Major Appliance for East Asia located in Singapore and had complete responsibilities for business and operations in ASEAN, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, India and Japan. He has worked with several multinational companies between 1988 to1994, such as Isuzu Motors Corporation in India/Japan and Bridgestone in Australia/New Zealand. Suresh holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Doctorate in Business Administration.
